What was the 1st music you ever bought for yourself (whether vinyl or tape or CD or mp3)?
What year was this?
Where did you buy it?
First LP:
Abbey Road by the Beatles in 1971, got at Woolworth's (hey remember those?, loved that store. It was first LP i bought (couple of LPs i had were Christmas gifts). I was in Jr High and loved the later Beatles music. Still Have the album.
First cassette:
I never bought a pre-recorded cassette only blanks and made my own music tapes from my record collection.
First CD:
Van Halen - Diver Down in 1984 at K-Mart (Woolworth's gone and Walmart hadn't arrived yet). I got a cd player and needed a cd, wasn't many artist to buy on cd then. Van Halen before they became Van Hagar, still a great album.
First MP3:
I have never bought an mp3. :D |

I love the Potter books and movies but the movies leave out some cool stuff, they have to because a movie would be a mini-series (last book is being made into two movies), now there's my point I and Mur both agree the books would make great mini-series. Maybe in the future they'll revisit the series and re-make them as a mini-series.
Hope i can see the new Potter with Mur. |
